Privacy policy

What you type into the forms on this website, and aggregated statistics about visits.

• Pilot application: your full name, work email, role, organization, organization type, number of front desks, how your desk logs shifts today, and anything else you choose to tell us.
• Investor materials request: your name, firm, email, stage and any message.

With each submission we also note which form you used and the page you sent it from. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate: which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, and their country and type of device, plus how many pilot and investor forms are submitted. It doesn't use cookies, it doesn't identify individual visitors or follow you to other sites, and the form counts never include what you typed.

To reply to you, and for pilot applications, to work out whether Shiftover is a good fit for your desk. We use your details only to contact you about Shiftover. We don't add you to a mailing list. Visit statistics tell us which pages are useful and nothing about who you are.

Submissions are saved to a Google Sheet in our Google Workspace account, and access is limited to the Shiftover team. Google may store and process this information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to the laws of that country. Visit statistics are processed by Vercel, which may also do so outside Canada.

We don't sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only with the service providers named on this page, who handle it on our behalf.

Until your inquiry is resolved, for example once a pilot has been agreed or declined, or an investor request answered. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted. Email contact@abrarnasir.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) applies to the personal information we collect. In practice that means we collect only what we need, use it only for the purpose described here, keep it secure and let you see or delete it. If you aren't satisfied with how we handle a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
